The mission of the Housing Division of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development is to provide financing for the development, rehabilitation and purchase of affordable housing in San Francisco. MOHCD also guides and coordinates the City's housing policy. MOHCD administers a variety of programs to finance the development of affordable housing by non-profit and for profit developers, provides financial and educational assistance to first-time homebuyers, and finances housing rehabilitation costs for low-income homeowners. MOHCD is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring the long-term affordability and physical viability of the City's stock of affordable housing.

MOHCD Announces Request for Proposals for Central Freeway Parcel 0
The Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development for the City and County of San Francisco seeks submittals from qualified respondents to develop a City-owned, vacant parcel as affordable family rental housing, including units serving formerly homeless families, and ground floor commercial space at the southeast corner of Fell and Laguna Streets, the former site of the Fell Street off-ramp of the Central Freeway, also known as "Central Freeway Parcel O". MOHCD Announces the Small Sites Program
The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development for the City and County of San Francisco announces the issuance of a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for acquisition and rehabilitation financing for the multi-family rental buildings of 5-25 units under the Small Sites Program (SSP). See the NOFA page for details.

2013 Neighborhood Based Community Services RFP -
The Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development Division (MOHCD) is seeking to fund a community-based organization to provide neighborhood-based services to assist low- and moderate-income families with children 6 years old and under who will benefit from MOHCD's Lead Hazard Control Program remediation services. Notice of Funding Availability - Acquisition funding for Permanent Supportive Housing for Seniors through Housing Opportunities for People with HIV/AIDS (HOPWA).   NOFA responses are due by 5:00PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
